California law requires that Uninsured and Underinsured motorist coverage must be offered with every car policy issued in this state.  The coverage is not required and if you don’t want it you have to sign a waiver excluding it.

Times are tough for everyone.  The economy is at it’s worse and everyone seems to be affected.  I thought being an insurance agent I wouldn’t have to worry about my income.  But, that’s not necessarily true, when people have little money they pay for basic needs only.

That’s correct, you don’t need a ‘California’ driver’s license to get insurance.  There are companies in California that will insure you with a foreign driver’s license.
