What is Identity Fraud?

- Identity fraud is becoming more common and continues to increase.
- Nearly 10 million people in the United States are affected annually.
- Personal records were either stolen, lost or compromised in the millions in 2005.
- The Federal Trade Commission states that Identity fraud was the number-one complaint over the past five years.
If Identity fraud occurs to you close all accounts and alert all creditors. You will need to secure all documents and file a police report. The process is not fun.
Protect youself and family, be alert and protect your private information.
Ask your agent if you have Identity Fraud Expense coverage on your home policy.
