- Have your vehicle serviced regularly:
Tune-ups improve performance and gas mileage.
Accelerate and brake as gradually as possible to save gas.
- Avoid long idles:
Idling burns more gas than restarting the engine.
- Avoid driving at excessive speeds:
Driving at 55 instead of 65 can improve your gas mileage by about 15%.
